In April 2019 I attended a fabulous one day workshop on using simple graphics with Emer O'Leary.  Since then I have been incorporating them into all aspects of my professional life; writing, teaching and teacher training. 

I’ve found them to be invaluable in capturing the imaginations of my students, editors and workshop participants.  A quick sketch can aid memory, support understanding and helps you to stand out from the crowd.

This simple doodle was one of the very first that I created, thanks to inspiration and support from Emer. Throughout the rest of my site, you'll see where this journey has taken me, my learners and many other educators.
