Transform your Teaching: Module 1: Lesson 5: Drawing verbs

As language teachers, we spend a lot of time talking about actions and tenses. We therefore need to express verbs. In this lesson, I’ll show you how to visually communicate some common verbs.

Try to keep your people simple and copy the angles of the body. You can try different body styles to express different emotions and to fit different activities.

Go back to ‘Lesson 4: Drawing people’ if you need to.

What other verbs would you like to draw? Add them to your visual dictionary or your visual vocabulary ‘to draw’ list. Use the ‘notes’ section of this lesson. You can download the files any time.

Check out the ‘DIY’ lesson in this module to help you draw them yourself.
